Tips for tutoring Reading – One of the most important skills I believe is being able to read something, understand it, and remember enough about it to answer questions about the content you’ve read. During this day of texting and surfing the web, I have found this is a skill that many students need some help with. Being able to read well can help you in a variety of subjects.
So how do you cultivate a love of reading? That’s a very good question. I think my love of reading came from the fact that growing up we didn’t watch much television so my only source of entertainment was to read a good book… and that’s what I did. Initially I did it because I had nothing better to do, and now I do it because I really enjoy a good book.
