Ever have one of those days when nothing goes right – such was the day I had yesterday. Our internet for whatever reason decided to go out and stay out most of the day. So this newsletter is coming to you a day late. As a reminder we’ve talked about it many times before is you need to have a back up plan in case something goes wrong. You will have things go wrong, but the more you plan, the better the outcome will be.
REMINDER – next week you can get involved. We would love to hear from you about topics you would like for us to talk about, successes you’ve had (you can share them – include links to your site), what you’re having trouble with. If we don’t hear any questions from you then there will be no newsletter next week – and we’ll resume posting on the 27th.
We would like to welcome our new subscribers – we have a ton of content you may not be aware of – you can access it here – http://www.cleverapple.com/blog/ if you want to learn you can use search which is on the right side of the page.

Tools for Tutoring using Webinars / Online Video Chat / Conferencing –
In our online tutoring guide we give you 4+ different solutions on how to do the technical part of setting up your video class. One of the easiest methods to use is Google Plus.
Google Plus is a great system to use because almost everyone has a Google account and if they don’t it’s very easy for them to sign up.
You want to make sure you have a “web cam†and that it’s setup. You want to make sure your students know when the class is going to be. You then invite them to join your Google Plus and let them know you’ll be online 5 minutes before the class starts.
You’ll want to make sure you test things out a bit first. To start a “Hangoutâ€.
- Log into Google Plus.
- Click on the right hand box that says “Start a Hangoutâ€
- You will need to install a plug in.
Here are some excellent resources if you have any questions.
