I think I’m going to start a new series that will appear on most Fridays. A list of things I learned this week. Most I think will apply to business. We learn from each other, so if you have something you learned this week I would love for you to share it with us.
1. Google Plus hangouts are pretty cool. For our online tutoring guide, this week we worked on the Google plus module. I like it. It is limited only by your imagination in how you can use it.
2. The power of persistence – if you build a blog today, and post something useful every day for a year… and no it’s not easy every day. Some days are much easier than others. By the end of the year you’ll have well over 300 posts. 300 pages on your website for Google and other search engines to index. Remember things you do to build your business that are ‘hard’, your competition will be less likely to do them… so persist.
3. This week we were also working on getting the payment portion of the new guide in place and hit a snag. Are we going to not do it… of course not. We’ll just try to do it in a different way.
4. True friends are awesome. You should let them know how awesome they are from time to time.
