I love the fall. I guess one of the big things I really like is the fact it isn’t too hot or too cold (most of the time). I’m a big fan of weather too. This is just a heads up to you, there is a hurricane that I think may have a significant impact on the Northeastern part of the US – particularly the coasts, but also further in land as well. I’m just giving you a heads up so you can prepare… if it doesn’t hit, then that’s great, but if it does then you’re ready for it.
In Case you missed it –
We’ve talked quite a bit about Pinterest over the past couple of weeks, if you missed it then you can check out the links below. Today we’ll start talking about using webinars in your tutoring business, we should finish it up on Tuesday and then we’ll talk some about paid advertising. I really can’t believe it is almost November.

Ideas for Tutoring using Webinars –
Today we want to show you some ways you can use webinars – and / or online video chatting for making some more money / offering more services for your tutor business. Just a reminder we go into great detail, detailing several methods you can do this in our how to tutor online program.
A webinar is usually a presentation you give online. The presentation can last for a few minutes or a few hours. People sign up for the presentation (and pay you for it), they are notified before the webinar begins and given a link on how to view it. Like we said before on Tuesday of next week we’ll tell you how to set these things up.
So how can you use this for your business?
One reminder with these you don’t just have to tutor locally but you can have an audience for anyone in the U.S. (or anywhere with an internet access and a way to pay you).
Think of questions that you are asked constantly – an example how to divide fractions easily, study tips, passing a test, the list could go on forever. Anything you spend time teaching during your tutor sessions you could have a webinar related to it.
You could go beyond one webinar and do a series of webinars over a period of time. One of the cool things about webinars is it is interactive. Participants can ask questions and you can answer them.
Do an online help line for students you currently tutor. Let your current students ask you or an employee questions online and you’ll be able to answer them.
Again these are just some ideas and I’m sure you will be able to come up with many of your own ideas.
