$29 / month. We do the work for you (create a Facebook business page, setup hosting, your blog, give you guidance for your advertising etc).
$79 / month – we do the work and pay for it (we pay for the domain name, hosting, templates, advertising, etc.
I’m thinking the revised pricing will be $39 and $99 / month. They could be more but I don’t think they will be less. If you have questions about the program, you can email us. You can find more details about the program here.
Next week we’ll be enjoying Christmas! The week after that we’ll have a shortened version of the Newsletter but you’ll receive a Goal Guide. I think you’ll enjoy that. And I want to take a moment and wish everyone a great holiday season filled with love, laughter, and fun. Thank you for letting us help you, we enjoy it!
Why You Need To Start an Online Tutor Business
It’s not as hard as you think – It isn’t difficult. Here are the steps.
1. Create a platform – like a Facebook page or website where people can find you, and you can communicate with them.
- Bring traffic to that site.
3. Setup your Google Hangouts so you can tutor people.
4. Setup your backend payment systems.
5. Create your products (weekly tutoring, homework help, are examples).
6. Use #5 and create a few stand alone products that you can sell and you won’t have to do anymore work, besides the initial setup.
Broader Reach –
No matter if you tutor in New York city, online tutoring can expand your reach. We have done online tutoring for people in the US, Canada, England and Australia all at the same time. I’m always think and just as a sidenote for your ESL (English as a Second Language) teachers, this would be great for you.
More income for your tutor business
Instead of just tutoring one person at a time, you can tutor five, ten or fifteen students, all at once. Let’s throw some numbers out. Again I’ll be the Math tutor. I can tutor one tutor student for an hour and make $50. If I work from 5-9 I can make $200 a night. Let’s say I have a Trig Tuesday – 2 sessions a week, four weeks in a month – I can make $1600/month.
Online Five to seven I have class, seven to nine I have homework help. Homework help is $50/ month per – 30 students have signed up. For the two hour class I charge $25/hour, 20 people have signed up
Homework help $50 x 30 = $1500.00
Hourly – $25 x 2 x 20 x 4 = $4000.00
$5500.00 / month. More than double. I can do a different class on Thursday – you can record these sessions so even if someone isn’t there, they can watch the lesson you recorded.
Easier for you and your students
You can tutor from your home, your students don’t have to leave. If they can’t make it lessons are recorded.
See above. Imagine you have two workers, and they tutor online. The one day a week would bring you in an additional $8000/month. Getting setup is an additional expense, but then you don’t have to worry about gas etc.
You can record your sessions for individual products. Example have a live 4 hour class on improving ACT math scores. You can invite as many as you want, live 4 hour Q and A session afterwards is optional but more expensive. You could include 10 two hour Saturday sessions for an additional costs.
You can package all of the recordings together and create a product you sell. Its like a book you write, you do it once and then make money with it forever.
I’m excited and I hope you are, we explain how to do all of the things we’ve been talking about in our course. If you have any questions let us know.
