Last week has seemed more like summer time here – temps have been in the 90’s for seven or eight days in a row. I think it is supposed to cool down this weekend. The leaves have started to fall, and football has started so even if the temps don’t agree just yet, it is my favorite time of the year.
The program we mentioned last week, the one you use to grow your business by taking the numbers you have now and running what if’s, the introductory price (and many bonuses) are about to go away.

Ideas for getting Tutor clients after the first test.
After Labor Day, almost everyone is back in school. Some districts have already gotten midterms (the county where I live). Now is the perfect time to gear up for a great time to find Tutor students – after the first test.
- Change your ads to reflect grades on the first test.
- If you haven’t been advertising, and you have room for a few more students, now would be a great time to start advertising.
- Phone the people in your teacher / guidance counselor list, let them know that you have room for them.
- Speak to your current clients, give them a brochure, remind them you will pay them to bring you more business.
Tools you can use – Doodle is a FREE scheduling tool. Great for your tutor business even if you have several people that you employ. You can find it here – http://doodle.com/features
I think for an upcoming issue, we’ll test a bunch of different scheduling tools and see which one we like the best.
Next issues will be September 24th but we’ll be posting on our blog most Thursdays.
